Load the data from a specified file on your local computer. The file should have been saved before using File/Save in either CSV or XML format.

  1. Select the file using the Browse button.
  2. Press the Load button to upload the file to the server. The server will supply the data to this page.
NOTE: The current path data will be deleted and overwritten by the loaded path data.

You can save the data to your local computer using download from the server. You will be prompted for the file name. (In Firefox please set the option "Always ask me where to save files" in Tools/Options/General.)

Free Marker:

  • Click on the map to create or move the "Free Point" (green).
  • Or, specify the location in the search field to create or move the Free Point (green).

Build the path:

  • Press Add to add the Free Point at the end of the path.
  • Drag line points to change the path.
  • Select a line point by clicking on it or on the corresponding item in the Path list. The selected line point becomes yellow.
  • Double click on a point in the point list to center the map on this point.
  • Press Insert to insert the Free Point before the selected line point.
  • Press Edit to edit the selected line point. You can move the point and give it a description.
  • Press Delete to delete the selected line point.
  • Press Clear All to delete the whole path.

Path Length:

  • Length shows the total path length along the earth surface, i.e. the spherical shape of the earth is taken into account.

Resize:

  • Click and drag the border line between the point list and the map to resize the respective areas.

Load and save the path:

  • Click File/Load to load the path from your computer.
  • Click File/Save to save the path to your computer.

Get the static map:

  • Click on Static Map to obtain a link to a Google static map with your path that you can use as you like.
