Description
A relatively difficult circular walk and ascent on Mittaggüpfi (Gnepfstein) (1917 m) in canton Lucerne. Some passages are exposed and secured by a cable. Only when the weather is dry.
Route: Stäfeli (P. 1300) - P. 1681 - Mittaggüpfi (P. 1917) - Wängengrat (P. 1763) - Stäfeliflue P. 1922 - steiler Abstieg über P. 1826 und P. 1533 - Stäfeli
Variant (not walked): From Stäfeliflue to Blaue Tosse and descent via Riseteflue.
Access
Drive by car to Stäfeli via Malters (LU) and Schwarzenberg (LU). The road to Stäfeli is rather narrow.
